The bellowing screech the serpent makes is enough to ring a bit in her ears, but that just means she needs to finish it off before it deafens her. It really isn't helping itself--between the force Shura's putting behind the spear and the serpent's pained struggle, it doesn't take more than a couple seconds for the spear to crack a couple ribs and pierce something vital in the beast.]
