[ Whatever insult he was going to hurl at Reign next is promptly left in his mind (probably where it belongs) as the ship suddenly swerves to the right. His body is lunged forward violently, head hitting the top of the controls with a sudden lurch.
It's painful, and within a second or so, it's pretty easy to see what's happened. They've crashed right into a meteorite, but thanks to the Natha's technology, the ship just bounces back unscathed.
Frantically, he looks around for his companion. ]

Hmm. This world, in general, seems to have more of a taste for... how you put it, "decadence and debauchery". But as far as kingdoms go, there aren't too many surprises in either. Both rulers are flawed, perhaps deeply so, but they both seem to consider what's best for their people first and foremost.

It's a large beast-- one of the largest he's encountered here, and rather fast for its size, as well.

He thrives in spur of the moment decisions like this, however, and wastes no time summoning his flames to give the slash of his sword an extra kick.

The attack isn't enough to kill it completely, since it landed towards its tail and near no vital organs, but it does cry out in pain and splash wildly, disoriented. ]
