Given the amount of overgrowth here, I'll be surprised if we do. But I've been wrong before.

I'll watch the shore and forest. Though we'll want to keep an eye for traps as we approach. The ground here is marshy enough that sink holes can be easily missed when trying to rush towards shore.

[ She can appreciate wanting to get into shelter ahead of the rain, however. The rain almost never helps mitigate the humidity here, and she'd rather be dry than soggy AND muddy. ]

A ranger, yes. [There is, at least in her mind, a clear difference] This isn't terrain I particularly favour, but I've tracked across swamp land before. Where jungles meet water, it tends to have a similar effect.

This can be easily replaced; shall I fire at your intended landing point, or would you prefer to test the mud directly once we're next to it?
